What NOT to Do
❌ Avoid excessive filing - This thins out your real nails.
Removing press-on nails properly helps protect your natural nails. Here’s how to do it safely:
Option 1: Soaking Method (Best for Gentle Removal)
1. Fill a bowl with warm, soapy water - Add a few drops of dish soap to help break down the adhesive.
2. Soak your nails for 10 to 15 minutes - This softens the glue, making removal easier.
3. Gently lift the edges - Use a wooden cuticle stick to gently pry them off. If they resist, soak for a few more minutes.
4. Moisturise - Wash hands and apply cuticle oil or lotion to rehydrate nails.
Option 2: Oil & Acetone-Free Removal (For Sensitive Nails)
1. Apply cuticle oil or coconut oil around the edges of the nails.
2. Let it sit for a few minutes to loosen the adhesive.
3. Use a cuticle stick to gently lift the nails off.
4. Hydrate your nails with a good nail treatment or cuticle oil.
❌ Do not force or rip them off - This can damage your natural nails.
